I began my affiliation with winter guard as a kid in the early 1980’s. 10 years later I aged out and started life without color guard, but I never lost my love for the sport.  Later my daughter caught the bug and I found myself once again attached to the activity.  Marching impacted my life in so many ways, from the lessons I learned to the lifelong friendships I made. I am hoping that in working with Gates Chili, I can help to make that a reality for a new generation of kids. I hope to give back, even in small ways, to an activity that has meant so much to me.
