Novice/Cadet Lead Instructor
Hannah is incredibly excited to join the Gates Chili Organization for the 2024-2025 season as the lead instructor for the Novice/Cadet program.
Hannah has been spinning since 2010. Since beginning her colorguard career with the Victor Marching Band, Cadet, and Varsity guards, she has also been involved with various ensembles including the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps, the Bluecoats, the Brigadiers, and the Keuka College Dance Team.
Hannah returns to the colorguard world to help others grow their passion for the activity and to allow the members to share meaningful experiences with one another. Hannah has valued her time teaching at Victor Marching Band, Victor Cadet and Varsity Winterguards, and Introspection Winterguard.
Outside of colorguard, Hannah is an Occupational Therapist at a skilled nursing facility. She enjoys the team aspect of working with other professions (including with IA instructor Kyle Regan, PTA) to provide care for patients and assisting them with increasing their independence with daily living tasks. Hannah has a dog named JoJo, a cat named Benny, and is almost always clothing with a smiley face.
Juli is incredibly excited to join the (novice/cadet) team this upcoming season with the organization that she calls home!
She has spun with the Gates Chili Organization since the 2016-2017 season, twirling at the RA, A1, and IA levels. She has also performed with the Gates Chili Marching Band both as a percussionist and as a guard member, and with the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps. Over the past few years, she has had the fortunate experience of working with the Gates Chili Marching Band as an instructor.
This season, she is most looking forward to helping all members grow in skill and confidence throughout the year while creating long-lasting memories in a safe and fun environment!
When not at guard, you can find Juli at the local JCPenney's or at home reading with her two cats, Dolly and Gertie.
McKenna is beyond excited to be joining the Gates Chili instructional staff working with the novice/cadet program for the 2024-2025 season.
McKenna has grown up in the Gates Chili organization and started spinning in their summer spin fest and then joined the winterguard program that season. Since then she has been involved in the organization for 11 years spinning in all levels offered by the organization. Her marching career also includes 2 years spinning with the White Sabers colorguard and most recently spinning with the Spartans Drum Corp.
This season, McKenna is excited to share her passion of winterguard with the younger members of the organization by creating a safe and fun space where all members can learn and grow to love winterguard as much as she does.
Rebecca is overjoyed to be joining the Gates Chili instructional staff working with the novice/cadet program for the 2024-2025 season.
